At my job there are many departments, electrical, hvac, plumbing etc etc. I explained to one of the guys what I was trying to do and they went into the supply room and gave me a piece of rubber that looks like an end link, it seems more like a bushing for the plumbing department or something to that effect.
I had to enlarge the hole in the middle of the rubber a little then I had to cut it to the correct length. Once all of that was completed I used a grinder and slowly grinded the rubber all the way around until it fit into the hole of the valve cover. I still had to use a little silicone spray to get the rubber to press inside the cover. Now whenever I rev the engine there is no hesitation and it just works better, everything is nice and snug.
I had looked all over for that rubber gasket, I even called junk yards from ebay and no one had anything, that's when I had to get creative.
