No speed limiter?
A Fort Knox man was clocked Christmas Day driving in excess of 110 mph on Interstate 69 in Washington, Indiana in Daviess County.
Sean M. Bronaugh, 18, was charged with reckless driving, a Class B misdemeanor, by Indiana State Police. If convicted, Bronaugh could serve up to 180 days in jail and have to pay fines up to $1,000.
According to a news release, Senior Trooper Jarrod Lents observed a silver 2005 Pontiac G6 traveling northbound on I-69 at 1:19 p.m. at what appeared by the trooper to be a high rate of speed.
Using his radar, Lents clocked Bronaugh at 116 miles per hour. The trooper followed his vehicle for almost 4 miles at speeds between 110 and 116 mph before Bronaugh pulled over, the release said.
