if you can see the rods in there, you should (in theory) be able to pull one of them an unlock the door.
its how they get the door open when you lock your keys in it... I just don't know which one, or how.
and if your replacing the lock mechanism... just break the actuator completely... and replace it. If its "jammed" snap the bastard off completely and it won't be "jammed" anymore. It'll just kinda "float"
