Don't blame you for wanting to practice on a junker. However, if you take one off of a junker, who knows how long that will last before if fries. As for the flasher, there is a recall on the flasher but I forget what year models. I put the info on a thread several months ago but can't remember where. Might want to do a search for it and then call a dealer and find out if yours is covered. I even think I put the phone number of the place you need to call and the bulletin number in the thread.
