I know this is an old topic, but Seafoam is best used when sucked up through intake manifold vacuum.

I like both MMO and Seafoam, both have given me positive results on my vehicles (small town, no highways, lots of idling in -40* and colder, etc.). I prefer MMO in the fuel tank (lubrication is nice) and seafoam through the intake vacuum (don't just pour it into an opening, let the engine suck it up)
