Hello again everyone,
I had a few questions about an exhaust system for my alero. I was given an estimate of about $150 to have a system put in my car. I'm not sure if you guys would recommend anything as far as tips or mufflers go. Also my car likes to jump RPM's when climbing hills going between 2k and 2.5k RPM's, I was told this could possibly be clogged catalytic converter. So essentially I am looking at replacing from the cat all the way back. I'd honestly just like to take the cat out period and simply have a shop run straight from the exhaust manifold right down to a new muffler(s)/tips.

So whats your input as far as mufflers go as well as tips? Would or have you taken out the catalytic converter? Also isn't technically illegal to take out the converter?

Mods in the making: 65mm Throttle body, B&M Shift Kit, Spyder3 hood scoop, HP Tuner??, Pacesetter Header, Magnaflow High Flow cat, and Catback Exhaust System Unfortunately there is no misplacement for displacement.
