Maybe it was just a bad belt? Doesn't mean that there has to be anything wrong with the car. Why did you replace it originally?
Did this happen with another belt? If not it might just be a bad belt. Get it replaced with another one (if you can under warranty, not sure if they have any on belts) and see if it happens again.
