its the vacuum line to i forget...... damn....
MAP vaccum line i think?
just go get a small hose connector, and then electrical tape together after putting the fitting on

or you can get a piece oh soft hose, and put it over the ends, and then superglue and then electrical tape to seal

LOL!
The LD9 has one of those as well. That goes to your HVAC controls, IIRC.
Use some of that flexible rubber tape. Electrical tape is not the answer.

Just some snug fitting hose should be fine. You could go through all the trouble to splice it with a new nylon tube, but that's just overkill.
You may be able to find an appropriate rubber 90° bend at your local parts store that may have a longer rubber section to make up for the cracked off section as well.

I would have put shrink wrap around it with a little pvc cement to make it air tight!

You have to remove the retainer for it then just work it loose. Sometimes they are just a pain to get out..

we tried for like... 40 minutes. it just wiggled... never got better or worse. so it stayed in there.

didn't... i just left it. couldn't get it out, so the new gasket didn't go on. wasn't leaking anyway... and i dear god hope it doesn't start now.

Nate, nowhere in this tread I see something about his LIMG? lol He's talking about the HVAC vaccum hose. Or maybe I missed something?
So Cherry, if I understand right, your hose is still hanging unplugged? So you gotta have a high idle now, no?
