Tarantula is nice, but I needed matching amps for my install - hence the PCA-2000D and PCA2.520 (160x2 and 1500x1 - power I need)

lol, not a chance - even new the Tarantula monoblock is only about $1200 from a reputable shop (saw one go for $500 not too long ago on ECA I think it was).
The PCA2000D is ~650, subs run ~250/ea, PQ-7 is ~150

heh, the amps I really wanted would've been about $6k - dual Helix X2000.2 (1 running at 2x265@4 for the fronts and 1 running at 1x880@4 for subs).
Someday... my goal is a McIntosh deck, the Helix amps, Rainbow CS 360.30 components, and Velodyne subs. Haven't quite made up my mind as far as processing.

heh, I like buying audio stuff and trying it out - purchases for the past couple days are:
DEI 1100d
Image Dynamics NX30 tweeters
Diamond Audio M6 components
Phoenix Gold Xenon 100.2
The Soundstream stuff is going in as the final install though.

Job = good thing. :P And with the various forums you can float a couple grand and keep swapping equipment around for awhile - my current amps (DEI 500/2 and RF 1500.1bd) are already sold as soon as I pull them out of the car - the Rockford for almost double what I paid for it.
