I've had the rainguards on my car over the windows for like 2 years now and for a long time have wanted to find someway to continue the chrome strip over top of it so that the car doesn't look so broken up by it. Does anyone have suggestions of how i could do this????

Or i guess worst case would it look best if i just removed them.

I'm not sure how feasible this idea is, but Pep Boys has rolls of chrome strip. Perhaps you can try that.

BTW: sorry for suggesting Pep Boys. lol But pretty much any auto place should have that kind of stuff. if you have time to kill just go out shopping. Come up with an excuse so you don't have to say you're shopping though. haha

Rain gaurds belong on 1985 F-150's. I think it would look much better without them.

instead of putting chrome on the vents, why not black out the chrome on the car? (do it the right way...with a sharpie. haha)

J.C Whitney sells ones that snap into the window channel. Leaving the chrome strip alone. They were a universal kit. I didn't know what they would fit like. I want to try them, just haven't got that far down the list.

I'll probably buy a set of Weathertech rain guards. As freakout mentioned, they go into the window channel.

I might be ordering them next week for myself.
