No start
Hi guys. My car wouldn't start this morning, and I'm not too sure why. I first tried the remote start, and the system tries 3 times to start the car, and it just cranked and wouldn't turn over. I then went outside with my key and tried to start the car, it cranked 2 times, and on the third it started for about a second or 2 and then died out again. By this point I was pissed and went to get on the bus to go to school, and my dad came out and tried it and on the 2nd try it started up, but I was already on the bus. Not sure if it has anything to do with water, as I went mudding yesterday (very minor) but then I went to the self-serve bay at the car wash and blasted water up under my wheel wells to get all the mud out, and blasted the undercarriage too, to get the mud off. It started up about 3 more times last night after it was washed, so I'm not sure if thats at all related. Thanks guys!

Yes, it sounded like it wanted to turn over, but it just wouldn't.

Wow, thanks Nate. That tells me a lot....
What sensor, and where would it be located that it would still be wet after sitting all night. It started 3 more times that night after washing it, so....?

Well, whatever. It just pissed me off because I had to get to school, and then I had to take the damn bus which was pretty shitty. Then my dad got the damn thing to start, so it was pretty crappy.

Well, there were no lights on. I asked him once it started, and there was no SVS or SES so I don't know.

Its the fkn passlock, nothing rare on most aleros... Its was cutting the fuel, when it started for few second the system had extra fuel until it burned off. Maybe your bypass for the remote starter is about to take a dump.
