Cloudy Headlight...?

Anyone know any remedies to fix up a cloudy headlight without buying a whole new headlight assembly?

Is it cloudy because of moisture on the inside or hazing on the outside?

There are kits to clean, smooth, polish, and coat plastic lenses. They can produce good results but don't last forever.

Toothpaste should help some. Rubbing with a cloth might be smoother than a toothbrush. Or use a buffing head on a low-speed drill.

yes toothpaste works, but you also have to use sand paper, and make sure you clean off the lens very well after using tooth paste but yeah i've seen it done and it will work for a while
