Are you going to buy the stock fogs that come with the car or are you getting aftermarket? I"m guessing you are going stock...

What I did was wire the fog lights in parallel with the passenger side headlight. For me this hasn't caused any problems such as headlight dimming.. I have an oem fog switch in my car but I haven't hooked it up yet..i haven't burnt any fuses yet and I did this in early july.

I would think as far as the fuse box goes, it would be already wired up.... As for the switch, you will most likely need to wire that up yourself. Not sure how to go about doing this. Shouldn't be too hard to find a wiring diagram on it though.

I know that if your car didn't come with fogs, the fuses and the relay are not there... You can check the passenger side fuse box, that's where the fog light fuses are. The best way to do it if you didn't have fogs is to find a power source and just use the chasis ground and just wire the switch anywhere. Also don't forget to fuse it.

Not true. My car didnt have fogs either but there was still a 10A fuse for it.

What do you mean? Aren't they just behind the current flat plate?

You mean the one that plugs into the switch? Where would I get that at?

I thought the fog lights had a two or three pin connector. How did you wire them up? And Wont the fog lights turn off the the headlight turns off?

yep its a 3 pin, purple black and green iirc. as for the connector; just go to a junkyard and snip one off a vent.

I ordered that vent and it came with the wire already cut off. The question I have is how would I wire both fog lights up just using normal wire, because the fog light wiring is 3 wires...

you only need the orange and the black wire. the purple is just for the little light in the switch..i JUST wired in my switch yesterday...before when i said to wire it in parallel to a headlight..i wouldnt suggest it anymore because when i wired my switch, i realized when the fog lights are on they dim my headlights. since it's a switch you can basically wire it in anywhere you would like..just put one end of the switch to your power source and the other end to the two purple wires on the fog lights.
EDIT: I never noticed the dimming before because I never really got a chance to compare with/without fog lights on until i wired up my switch...so now i just have to get a fused power source from elsewhere and just wire it up.

How would I wire up the little light in the switch? Do you have any suggestions of where I could tap into for power? What gauge of wire do I use? and Do I run each wire separate to each fog light?

You could just get power directly from the battery but fuse it. And if you want to get the little light to light up when the switch is on..then you can wire up a relay to it and use the switch as the input and the battery as the source...also you can use the chasis ground to ground whatever that needs to be grounded.

Is there a wiring diagram that I could look at? And would the OEM fog lights that I buy just screw onto my car? Or do I need to buy something else?
