thsi is what rksport.com is saying

Air Temperature Module

"RKSport has discovered an inexpensive way to help squeeze every ounce of power from your treasured ride. Our new plug in Air Temperature Module attaches between the air temperature sensor and its harness, advising the PCM to provide maximum spark advance while retaining proper knock sensor and engine function. Installs easily in minutes; Dyno tests have shown increases of 5 to 7 HP"

then buy it

you asked for a opinion, and you shoot everyone down. its the same exact thing they sell on ebay. its a resistor that tells the pcm the air thats comming in is colder than it really is, advancing timing. it doesn't do poop except waste gas. and what he meant by "dyno proven with a with a 5.7 liter Camaro or a 3.4 liter Firebird" is that it may be dyno proven to add 5 hp on a tricked out LS1 5.7L camaro, but it isn't going to add more than 1hp on our car....

i can make one of those for free, i have resistors laying around

but nevermind, BUY IT, then bust it open and notice your 10cent resistor in a pretty package

hahahahahaha

not the same 3.4 smart guy.... though i wished.

and vtolds, you're thinking of the TPS enhancer, not the IAT module.

the IAT module is crap, if you want one, go to radio shack and by a 15 cent resistor.

Yep 3.4 does not equal 3400. Two different motors. If you really want to try out the IAT sensor mod, go to Radio Shack and buy a pack of 0.1k ohm resistors, disconnect the harness from the IAT sensor, and put the resistor into the harness. There's your mod and it cost you $ .99 and took two minutes of your time. I tried this out on my GA, and it did nothing but lower my MPG. It did not affect my track times at all.
