Can I Remote It?

Can i remove my upper intake manifold to paint it? I am some what mecanicly inclined. How and what is the best way to remove the upper intake manfold. I have painted it before but only on the car, and trying to spray around everything.
My big question is HOW, do i take it off? Any suggestions about my spark plug wires. I put those on and the plastic clips that held them together and to the side came off?

I am doing this as well but I will be porting the manifold and painting it as well as a few other things. Just take lots of pictures and notes on where everything goes and how it came off so when it comes time to put it back in you have no problems and can look at your notes to help you.
