I have a 99 gls. Everytime im listening to a cd when im driving and the Tach reads more than 3000rpm the cd starts to get staticy and then cuts out and the stock uit reads E4 or wateva it means that says theres no cd. Then it plays again when i stop accelerating. The only way to stop it from happining so far is to drive like my grandma wich sucks.

Any input would realy help.

it's probably the laser eye inside the unit....when you accelerate it could be forcing it out of alignment (if not already) and causing it to not read the CD...just get a new deck...the stock GM radios suck anyway.
