guys iam stuck i have looked high and low for a 02 sim and can not find one for the ecotec if any one knows where i can get one it would be greatly appreciated

i think the one for the 2.4 will work. actually i think they are all the same. But contact either high rev or pfyc. o2 sim is made by casper electronics.

well i have the one from pfyc on my car and it`s not working, rksport said the one ur talkin about will not work,casper is up in mudelion and i called them and they won`t have one out until this summer
and highrev said the same thing
and right now i would rather pay 50 bucks instead of 600 bucks for a new cat
i still think iam screwed,stupid ecotec

i know people have no probs with it on a 2.4 but i guess the ecocrap is a picky bitch

ya it is,and it sucks cuz` the cat i have on now has taken a crap and can`t afford the 600 the robin hood muffler wants to charge me

it`s a catco high flow,and it didn`t last long either,i think it`s only been 6months since i put it on and it`s shot already

Okay, that's enough ecotec bashing. I'm giving you all a warning
I did find an article on how to build your own, but it appears to be only for the 4th generation toyota supra. But maybe you can get an idea here to build your own :unsure:

the muffler shop like right by my crizzle, it`s a refurbished factory cat that is 430
and labor is over 225
that`s allot of money, i know, the one your takin about it`s for the 2.2???
that has the provision for the 02 sensor??? 2.25 in and 2.25 out also???

whoa whoa whoa.. bdyman... please dont buy that cat.. go to like custom exhaust shop and get like a magnaflow or a carsound or somethin installed their.. those guys always know how to rig the things up man... i bet you can get away with like $300 (still a lot more than I would pay here) and it be MINT

that`s the prob i want the high flow cat off is shot anyways
the one the muffler shop got for me is like i said factory befurbshed
and they are the only place that will do it for me,carmax won`t fair muffler won`t iam screwed dude
all i know is that the cat on there now is done stick the fork in it
looked online and found nothing
this is gettin old in my book unless someone on here has better searching skills then my self and can find one i would really apperciate it

Ok here's what I did. Called summit and they put me in contact with catco. they gave me the part # for a 2.5" in and out cat with O2 provision. I can't remember the part number (something like 6450-r ???)but it cost <$70 from summit; that's waaaay less than the $430 you exhaust guy wants. They also had a 2.25" cat nubmer if you want a smaller dia. for the eco.
Just outta curiosity how did you kill your cat? you running hella rich for too long?

i believe what did happen when i had the header installed with the high flow cat the speed shop used a silicone gasket instead of header gaskets
i think iam not to sure that`s why it`s shot, i have a catco high flow on now are you talkin about another high flow or factory cat???
thx`s for that info dude....i will call summit too talk to the tech`s and order me one up
allot cheaper than 600

ok i called summit and nothing from them but i called catco and got a obd2 cat
and from summitracing 58.95
anyone else has this prob here is the part number cto-2506r
just ordered it and thx`s again guys for helpin me out
