Radars?
Well I've been wanting to get a good radar for my car and I was wondering if anyone out there has bought one that works real good for them. Let me know!

I've got a cobra from walmart. 45$ 9 band I think. It works most the time and sometimes I trust it, but other times it's a piece of plastic. You can trust it and hope you won't get pulled over lol.

YES....escort's are one of the BEST.....look for a passport 8500.....the best! Mine is about 7 years old, still works perfectly and has a bunch of options...a little confusing to use at first but just play around with it and you will learn (or just read the manual). If your looking for a cheap one (aka under 100 bucks) then why do you ask us on here? Just go buy one at wally world and be done with it. IDK how the quality is but their cheap for a reason

I've owned a cobra for about 5 years now. Works ok, although it still detects automatic doors and some traffic lights have a sensor that it goes off at. It does detect cops when they are there tho, which is the main part. Would rather own an escort

my cheap target cobra 12 band does it job for me. it would be nice to just get a radar/laser jammer though then i would paint my car flat black and get rivets painted on and it would be like a stealth bomber.

Radars are overrated.......You start to rely on them and not on your sight and 6th cop sense.

This...plus if you have a radar detector, get pulled over and a cop sees it then you are guaranteed to get a ticket...if you get pulled over without a radar detector as long as you are not significantly speeding at the time and you don't try to lie to the officer then you can often manage to get a warning

Yeap, happened to me when i borrowed one and was on my way back from Ohio. Now i bought that same one but i don't speed like i used to when i had it. A lot of people with them seem to think their "invisible" until that one cop with the laser gets you
Also, if you get pulled over....take that shit off the windshield

I don't know when I am in a hurry and speeding I usually try to think ,"if I was a cop then where would I hide." Knock on wood no tickets yet
