Arrow Quiet mufflers + resonator question

Does any company make a quiet muffler that is going to be any better than an oem replacement @ _insert auto parts store name_ place? I favor quiet over performance.

And do resonators wear out over time? Should I replace that with the muffler?

I wouldn't say my resonator "wore out", but it became so rusty that the exhaust leaked from it before it even got to the muffler...and when I took it off my car and accidentally dropped it, it shattered into a bunch of rust pieces. I used a Magnaflow straight-through muffler to replace it though. Sounds nice.

You should be able to get a stock muffler from Rock Auto. But they are pretty pricey.

$350+ that's a bit steep. Any idea why they are so much?

Walker 50050 should be the direct replacement correct?
