front seat removal?

this spring im planning on completely detailing/shampooing the interior of my alero and i was wondering where the bolts are located on the front seats to take them out? i was looking earlier and couldnt seem to find them.... can someone post pics or somethin? :P

move your seats all the way to the front and you will see theres 2 bolts on the back of the rails.

yea im pretty sure your going to need a torx screw

^ IIRC it's not a hex key...I'm pretty sure it's a giant ass torx screw...

nope the others are in the front of the rail - probably a plastic guard covering them.

i dont remember there being bolts in the front, i thought it was 2 big torx in the back and then there were hooks in the front. i could be wrong though i did my seats a while ago.

Gr1m is correct, just twobig Torx bolts hold each seat in place.

hooks? are those easy to take off?

it is a big ass torx screw but you can also use a regular socket cause the outside is like a regular nut

No, it's a speical socket drive you will need.

IIRC it's a T-60 you need, which will be a 1/2 inch drive socket

like i said you can use a torx socket or a regular 15mm socket to remove the bolts
