How much can the 3400 handle?.....

I was lookin around at threads and peoples mods, and i was just wondering how much HP the stock internals can handle??? I mean the performance mods i have right now is only the Stage 3 CAI, but i want to get headers,cat back exhaust w/a high flow cat, and a bigger Throttle body. I know that the stock internals can handle those mods, but i was just curious of how much horsepower you can put on the 3400 without it getting effed uplol Thanks.

they can handle more than bolt on will give you, ill say that. you will need a cam forced induction or nitrous before you need to worry about it.

I got mine running 14.53 in the 1/4 mile. With the ET=HP calculator I'm putting down about 205 HP or so, but I alwasy compute 23% power loss in the tranny so that's about 245 or so HP and it's ok.
