Help ! Radio Shut Down !

Hi guys !

This really sucks, I was in traffic and I had nothing better to do so I pushed the cigarette lighter... my radio shut off !! no display, nothing !
Turned the car off and on, didnt do anything. changed the radio fuses... didn't work. Although there is still the back light in the buttons.. there is no display and no sound at all...

I really need help on this !

i had the same shit happen and i bought a new cd player,,didnt come on,,had to run a wire straight form the radio acc fuse to get it to work,,good luck

an odd suggestion, but did you try pushing the cigarette lighter again? *shrug*

probably shorted somethin, are you sure you checked ALL the fuses? check the passenger side panel

I didn't know about that 2nd fuse box... hehehe...
So i opened it up there was in fact a fuse that was
broken... the Radio BATT one... but still... no radio...
nothing...

I'll have to check the fuse box in the engine bay tomorow...
Cuz its cold and dark...
