Hello everyone. I was wondering what kind of challenge it is to change the spark plugs on the 3400. I picked up some NGK Platinum plugs and they are all ready to go. I just need a time frame for completion and any tuff spots that I should know about before hand. Thanks In advance.

SURE!!! Tough spots 1, 3 , and 5. The rear suck to do...might want to get a boot puller too unless yours hands can fit back there.

Actually, I founds it was really easy. Easier than any other vehicle I've worked on. (Wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that I had pulled the engine at the time?)

Yeah, the back ones are a pain. If you get in the car and get someone to push it forward, then put the e-brake on, that'll rock the engine forward some and make it a little bit easier.

i just had about 4 different extentions laying out and it was a combonation of them to find out wich lengh worked the best. I found out GM designed it that way. once you find the right length, the ratchet works great becayse theres enough room
