there is a check hole on the passenger side of the tranny to use. but supposedly there is a kit that you can get from the dealership for a dipstick, blackjack said b4 that he got one.

the 2.4 takes around 7 I believe? I usually just have a friend keep pouring tranny fluid in while im under the car checking intil fluid comes out the over flow hole, kinda a pain in the ass but i dont know anything about that dipstick thing...pm blackjack and ask him if u wanna go that route

Do not ever let a quick lube do tranny services on your car. Many of them have no idea what they are doing especially when it comes to details of individual cars.
Futhermore, I would not recommend T-tech flushes on trannies period. Drop the pan and replace the filter and fluid, that is the safe way. If you're worried about getting all the fluid then just do it every 20,000 miles.
As for the fluid level, heres the easiest way to do it based on my experience:
1. Drop the pan and replace the filter, then replace the pan and reuse the old reusable gasket if it is in good shape, as it is way better than the replacements that come with tranny kits
2. Once its all back together, add 8 quarts or 2 gallons of new ATF.
3. Start the car, shift it through the gears a couple times. Leave it running in neutral as per GM's instructions.
4. Set your ebrake and go back underneath, there is a check plug right next to the passenger side CV joint that is 11mm I think but maybe 12. Remove the plug with the engine running in neutral, and allow the excess fluid to drain out. Once the fluid stops flowing out quickly then replace the plug you are done, or if nothing comes out then you still need more fluid.

In dropping the pan and changing the fluid? Id go with a 2, just dont lose any of the bolts for the pan, i think theres like 15-20 of them, but other than that youll drop the pan, youll see the filter pop it out put the new one in, scrap the old gasket off the pan, put a new one on and bolt it back up
This is what I do...get a friend to pore fluid in while ur underneath the car with the over flow bolt out waiting for fluid to come out...it should fill up around 7-8 quarts, so once fluid comes out put the over flow plug back in and ur good
