can anyone tell me step-by-step how to remove it and put a new one in, i got a carbon fiber one today in the mail and needed to know how to instal it.

now for the CF one, if I remember correctly, it is flexible and has self-adhesive on the back. All you have to do is stick it into the front part of the bezel (the black and clear piece) and remove the backing, then stick the CF part onto the black part. Now all you have to do is reassemble it.

With the CF one you do not have to take the two cluster (clear and black pieces) halfs apart. Once you have that assembly in your hands you can VERY carefully and slowly work the overlay in though the speedo or tach opening. Just take your time and bend slowly and you should be okay. That's how I put mine in.

^ that's what I meant. still gotta take the black piece of the guages themselves though. (and by "remove the backing", I mean for the adhesive part on the CF bezel)
