Drag Strips In Twin Cities Suburbs?

Topic is pretty self explanitory... I don't know of any drag strips in my area any info is welcome.

Not in the Twin Cities, but there is Rock Falls Raceway which is about 10 miles from Eau Claire, WI (70 miles from mpls). If you're not against a 1.5 hour drive, they have a ton of races throughout the summer. Last I heard it was $30 to race your car.

I dont like RF personally. Lots of tc people make a real jaunt to Cedar Falls Iowa. Much better track prep. RF will work if you must stay close.

if your ever up near the Fargo-Moorhead area there is a dragstrip called Interstate Dragways.

I have a friend who races his talon in Iowa...probably the one you're talking about. why aren't there more up here? you go down south and throw a rock 50 feet in any direction and you find a drag strip!

Great Lakes Dragway in Wisconsin. Thursday nights they have this Real Street Drags were you can race people for money on a dragstrip instead of on the street. It's so much fun to watch and go see...I even think Silent's been up there too. You can go online and check out their schedule. I haven't been to one this year yet though. If your ever down here in IL., Byron Dragway & Rt.66 in Joliet are both awesome to go too. My dad races at Byron and I've raced my Alero up there. Hope this helps!
