Rear Control Arm Upgrade
How-to instructions can be found by using the following link... http://www.unitedmalibus.com/forums/...ead.php?t=7161
suprisingly its a very straight forward upgrade with minimal BS to deal with

Interesting....although I'm not certain if the cost/benefit is there....unless you bend a lateral link and need to replace it. I think the trailing link would be more worthwhile, but finding a suitable replacement will probaly be more difficult.

with those you have more toe control over the alignments of the rear wheels.. that's how I see it.
And the BMRfabrication.com ones are awesome you can even use them as a camber and toe kit because both are ajustable....

I wouldn't see why they wouldn't, but I don't exactly have $400 to just drop on that anytime soon.

Ordered from them today and they had really good customer service. Told me that trailing arms would be a possibility if we could get enough people together for a buy but, wouldnt be able to look at them til their slower months.

Then count me in for sure if you want to do a group buy... the trailing arm bushing will be the only rubber bushing that will be left on my car by the end of the summer... everything else is already urethane...

Good call! I'm sure there are interested people here. Doesn't look like much of a change would need to be made...

We might have interested people but I dont know if we are gonna have 25... I hope this can happen but we would need to meet their order requirements and they wont be able to look at it til at least Oct.

Interested people, or people who actually will pay for it?

I would love 2 do this but Cliff is right... There is a difference between those who will pay and those who are interested. If we can get enough people who will actually do this then Im in as well but I think 25 is going to be a hard number to reach.

Well, it is more attainable since this is a part that is not necessarily Alero specific.
Possibly BMR could set it up in their store and once they get the required number they could go for it. That would ensure commitment.

Have to figure the W-Body ones are $130, ours are a little more complicated but being in a group buy may make them comparable in price.
I'm game for a set. Even the ones on my '04 look nasty.
