Mod FAIL!!!
So I just got this little project done, but theres only one problem!! Of course I'm not going to tell you though. Lets see if anybody can figure why It wasn't worth wasting my time doing this. And if it sounds like I'm setting myself up for criticism, AWESOME!!! I like criticism, so anything you got like/hate thouw it at me.
What I know is wrong:
- Calipers don't match motor - My old primary color was blue. now it's red havnt got to them yet
-pvc breather is dumb - my work cars pcv vacuum line broke and my car had the transplant
-front bumper is f-ed - put to much primer on in paint - going for paint in the winter
- There is no wiper cowl - I'm replacing the motor
-I know everything going to the air box is unplugged - I just pulled it off and forgot to plug in before the pics
-and a whole list of other crap
WHAT DO YOU SEE THATS GOOD/BAD
So here it is:

You have either a shaved intake mani, or the sucky one from the minivan.
I think I see the 3400 SFI, so that's a good thing. If it's the minivan mani, that's bad

I see the breather filter instead of a PVC valve, not a good idea on the 3400.
Ugly ass red wire loom. I had it, it flaked apart with the heat.
I really don't see anything else wrong. Paint job looks pretty good. Did you get red paint on sale

No I never bought the chrome stuff.
After that loom melted on my Delta's engine, I stopped using it.
I use that wire braiding from Painless now, looks pretty sweet IMO

your missing an IAT sensor, yeah I know you said you unplugged everything going to the air box but it really stands out to me.

That would be the brake fluid reservoir. Painting all of that crap red is major overkill. You don't go around painting every single item one color, there has to be contrast.

Thanks, if that was your engine bay right now is that all you would paint? But IMO i would make the spark plug leads black and make any wiring in the engine bay black, and and paint those four things.

The biggest thing is that you decided to use the lowest quality cameraphone pics that you could find. Seriously, if your camera can't capture the color red properly, it isn't a camera, its more of "This is generally what it looks like but you kinda have to imagine it" machine. It makes the intake manifold look like a hot water bottle. Also +1 on the red loom.. it doesn't look good, and it just flakes off after a few months. I had it too and I replaced it with black stuff again. btw why did you take the cover off of the headers or are those aftermarket?

Wire loom should be black. You don't want to emphasize wires, you want them to be hidden. Makes things look cleaner. That's why people do wire tucks. Less wires there are, the nicer the engine bay tends to look.
What I would do is make everything in your engine bay black and silver... would be hot.

I like the idea of the wire tuck.. Might be my next thing. I also took the manifold heat shield off 1 because it looks like ass, the bolts snapped, and I decided to shave the manifold then. (this was in the process of a head gasket) Anybody realize why this was a fail yet?
