Stereo wont turn on...
Sometimes when i start up my car my radio doesnt turn on. by random messing around i found that i had to unhook the battery ground and reconnect it to get the radio to come on. Any thoughts?

Have not checked the fuse. I don't think it would be the wiring simply because all it takes is a disconnect/reconnect from the battery to get it back up and running. i will have to check the fuses. any other thoughts?

have you ever noticed your passenger floorboard wet or anything? I have an issue where the hvac unit leaks water and I recall someone having an issue where their BCM was fried from water damage. maybe yours is shorting out and resets when the battery is disconnected and reconnected?

throw in a led or something on the power now and when it goes out, see if the stereo has power going to it. not a solution, just part of trouble shooting.

Well installed a voltmeter yesterday that requires a remote turn on. I could connect it to the power coming into the stereo i just need to know the color of the wire. Probably red eh?

I doubt theres a way to test it, but I heard the schosce ones are a hit or a miss. Maybe try a metra module.
