perhaps you'll need some spacers
with a 245 you really should have gone like 35 series rubber..245/35 18

noo, a 245/40 18 has considerable more sidewall as well as width. 40 only implies 40% of the width makes up the sidewall. soo 225 times .40 is less than 245 times .40.
and this added sidewall means a taller tire, which explains why he cant drop the car lower

ya but see hes talkin bout being able to drive the car with the bags extremely low it sounds like.
no matter how thin a tire u put on i think its gonna rub depending on the width of the rim.
like i said i have 8inch wide rims and i cant drive tuckin tire in the back without rubbing

I cant slam the ho either without rubbing because of the fender well. Just have to raise it up a bit and rollout.

actuley the passangerside is not aligned right i took it to a body shop and they said they can pull the lip a bit the reason i went with the 245 is so the tire covers up the lip of the rim i am thinking of getting them for the front but i would have to rool the lip of the front fender.
i have easy street bags with a 5 gallon tank and 2 viar 450 compressors the digital air mgment and 1/2 up and 3/8 down
i installed it all my self and the hardest part is getting rid of the leaks i lose about 1 psi an hour on all my bags due i am not good at pipe fittings

thread sealant works better than thread tape sealant, but I actually had really good results with the tape.
