It's cheap because GM doesn't make that kit anymore and those are probably the last of what Pace has and they're trying to get rid of them.

'99 isn't included because the '99 ECU can't be relfashed with the GM supercharger program to work with the 2 BAR MAP and 310cc injectors. The kit will fit any 2.4 engine, but only the 2000+ ECU's can be reflashed. For '99's, you're on your own with adding fuel in boost, which actually isn't that hard, especially on that low boost.

Those kits aren't made by GM anyways, they're drop shipped from a vendor. GM DOES make the Ecotec kit, and it IS discontinued.

Odd, Pace is usually far more expensive. They'll probably charge $1000 for shipping.
1999 isn't listed as it depends whether or not you have the bigger starter and low impedance fuel injectors. If so, it's hard to get the supercharger to work.

according to the shipping calculator, it would cost me 100.33$ for shipping and I'm not even in the states, I think its not bad.

lol I will, just waiting on my next pay check, which is thursday.
I just hope there wont be things like some sort of "extra fees" like I've already seen on some sites.
Like "we are offering the kit for 1500$ + 100 shipping + packaging fees + transport + blablabla"
Anyone ever shop from this store?

Unfortunately the ecotec kit costs more. BUT it is a larger supercharger and has a heat exchanger in the manifold.

Oh snap, 100 bucks more, that sucks. I've return to the point where I debate putting the kit in the car. The fact that I have to put 93 in it, and that we only have 91 around here is bugging me. Also, Petro-Canada do sell 94 octane, but goddamn they ask 6 cent more per liter than the 91.
Yesterday for fun I went to put gas in the car and I've put some 94 in it.
The prices were :
87 : 1,394$/liter --> 5.29$/gallon
91 : 1,454$/liter --> 5.53$/gallon
94 : 1,534$/liter --> 5.82$/gallon
Maybe I should go N/A? but the sound of the S/C is soo nice. Too bad its only a roots supercharger

Why, what type of supercharger would be better? ...besides that kind that looks like a snail and is exhaust driven...

Gas is expensive, oh well. Something everyone has to deal with. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try to have fun still.

Damn right

Well I would have prefered a twin screw, but I still love the fact that the supercharger kit is almost a bolt on.
