I assume you're looking for automatic-transmission numbers.

4-cylinder: 3.42:1
6-cylinder: 3.05:1

Daytona is on a distinguished road
Has anyone tried to swap gears to a shorter (faster) set on an Alero? Maybe bump the 6 up to the 3.42's or more?

Just FYI, if anyone does try this without re-calibrating the PCM, you will throw a code and the MIL will illuminate.

^^mfuller is correct in that a MIL light will set. Also it's gonna feel real bad shifts, pattern and you run the risk of overspeeding you motor, well you will hit fuel cut off that much faster anyways. In other words don't do it.

Thank God I have a manny so not as many problems as the slush boxes.

Of course I plan on building my own ecu and fmu (subsystems of the PCM) If I ever do a tranny swap; that will throw off the SVS, rev limiter, and speedo to name a few things.
