LED turn signals in side mirrors

I finally got my mirrors done! Put some LEDs along the outer side of the mirror for turn signals.. what do you think???

And yeah I know, I gotta get the mirror cleaned up now... I just finished it when it was dark... so I'm cleaning it all up tomorrow..

Yeah, either white, red, or amber. Blue would match the car, but illegal. A+ for effort, but I would like to see it around the entire shell of the mirror

i think putting the LEDs further behind the mirror would look better. (as well as all the way around)

and as long as they blink w/ the turn signals, i think its a decent idea.

Well I went with Yellow to go with the turn signals.. I have seen red ones so I might try that someday... Maybe when I get my new mirrors (whenever that happens)... I am going to be putting in a few more... I only had 8.... Originally I was going to put them more behind the mirror but it looks really bad during the day and not all that great at night... I like it better this way.. but I am definately considering a different color... I like it the way it is though for now.

Don't think there's really any need to put them further back. Look at the fact that we're focusing on them with a flash. No reflective parts in the housing so putting them further back defeats the purpose. Once he gets them more uniformed and conceals that wire a lil bit better, it'll be str8.

yeah, tomorrow I'm going back and hiding the wires a little bit better... I was doing that one when it was getting dark, so it got a little hard to see when it came to hiding the wires and putting the mirrors back on.. lol

Also, I aligned them to be just slightly behind the edge of the mirror and I tried to get them spaced out as good as I could and at the same level on both sides... I think it looks better in person... Now I just need to get LED bulbs put in the rear...
