Alero Door swap

I have a 2002 Alero 2.2 eco, 2 door, standard. From what i was able to see it is the base model. I have old crank windows. Here is my question. Can i swap these doors with doors that have power windows and mirrors? I am not the kind of guy that can tear the car apart to wire it up but i have heard that a lot of base model cars have the wiring harness setup for it but they just put on the cheap doors.

Let me know what you think.

Easy way to tell is to see if have connectors when you take the door panel off. Now to replace the door with another door that's alot of work! Be better to just salvage the parts out of another door! And use in yours.

Really? I figured just a few bolts and aligning them, hooking up the harness would be about it.

dude... No it is not a bolt on. You have to wire everything up. Doors on a coupe are dam far heavier than the 4 doors. Each door on the 4 door is ~60-70 pounds each. I know this from taking my weight on a scale and then doing it again while holding the door.

doors might be heavy, but i'm thinking about doing this anyways. my doors are dented, and window regulator clips are broken. i want to get two doors with power windows...

also 60-70 lbs isn't a whole lot to move around. trying to hook them back up will require a second guy

LOL......oh man..... so your going to find 2 doors the same color in good condition? you think your gonna be able to slap them on without refinishing them? and by the time u get them refinished you could have spent that money on buying the parts u need and having a body shop put them in for you.

and idk if the harness will just plug right in and work....bdyman?

the harness will not just plug in and work trust me. I have 4 doors in my garage i took to get all the panels off of when i changed out my interior. The only things that work when you hook them up is the locks and trunk open. The power windows has its electrical crap all set up and has its own fuse. You have to create your own wire job and all that to get it to work properly.
