I'm still wanted to know about those headlights. I require more information, specifically can we get a group buy together and what price range for the completed project?

I would also like info, but lets not crap up his project thread. PM him or start a separate thread. Ion has a lot into his build to just focus on discussing his headlights on this thread.

He suggested it in this thread. No point in one of us making a group buy thread on the headlights. He's the one who can say yes or no on this. So it's his doing on making the buy thread for it. We have no info on this stuff no pricing. And not even a 100% yes if they will even happen.

That's right.
Headlights will happen. Group buy of 5, with free demon eyes in your choice of red/green/blue. Tired of everyone disappearing when headlight options are hinted at being available. This guy is a friend I've had since like 1st grade and he's not going anywhere. I will make a separate thread about the headlight details when my car is done and I'm not stretched so thin with everything that's going on in these next couple days.

friggin awesome man!! good show!
btw, do you have a front stb to go on there as well, or does the piping get in the way of it? I have one on my 5 speed and its a pain to check the clutch fluid level if needed!! so far I have been ok with mine, but my mechanic swore a storm when he had to change the clutch and bleed the lines... then he took it off hahaha

Yeah I have custom strut tower mounts so it moves the bar forward and out of the way, but it blocks my oil cap so I have to undo one side to raise it up to take the cap off. Got annoying when I put in a quart a week for the last year and a half or more. Fixed that issue.

- intercooler mounting
- all charge pipe installed
- modify bumper to accommodate intercooler thickness
- boost/vacuum hoses finalized and connected
- finding and installing a belt (345K5 is too small for no A/C no bypass pulley, will try next size up)
- wiring primary O2 sensor in
- wiring boost gauge
- wiring AEM wideband sensor to gauge and to PCM for datalogging
- exhaust welded together with new flexpipe, new hangers
- write tune
- bleed clutch
It's gonna be faaaaast. Can't wait.

no the trans was constantly slipping under load, it was faster at ASS '12 but still not to its potential. over the last year or so when i had 2+ passengers it would slip a ton trying to just take off from a light at a slow pace.

yep but getting time off work to do things has been the issue. shop's closed on weekends and closes an hour after i get out of work on weekdays. i like to go slow and check everything over to make it all perfect too. next week it should be running.

Lol it's so tall... are you putting in a short shifter? Mine feels much more responsive with the shorter throws...
