Do you have a service engine soon light on?

Nope no lights are on... however I did talk to the previous owner (my cousin)... and he said that he floored up to around 6-6.2 atleast once a day.... so that somewhat worrys me. Also since he had a lead foot... i'm sure the computer adapted the transmission somewhat to the driver. So I'll take out the battery and reset.
So all I'm worried about is his flooring, the wear on the engine, and that rough idle. I hope he didn't blow it up or mess something up.
Can the Ecotec take that kind of pressure or will it blow under those conditions?

I'll leave all the problems up to the ones that know what could be wrong but I'll still say this, welcome to the site. You'll enjoy it here, even if you don't have any problems with the car. It's a fun place with a lot of cool people but prepare to be a broke mofo cause you're gonna see all kinds of stuff that you'll want to do to your car. laugh.gif
