I did notice the excellent job of the switch in the bag. I did not realize that the dash wiring was not yet permanent. I hope I did not insult you, just when it comes to wiring I am picky. Example..... picked up a car stereo from Futureshop today, and when i found out that they just twist the wires and use electricians tape, I decided to save the $50.00 and do the the install myself. Even though they guaranteed it for life, I am just picky. I wish I had the skills and the patience to do my interior even remotely as nice as yours is looking now, and will when done. Maybe I'll hav to clean my garage out and start playing with stuff.

SNM... lotsa fun, eh Candace
Kilroy man, no insults taken... I'm a huge fan of heat sinks and soldering. Electrical tape I'm a fan of in wrapping groups of wires, then zap strapping the "lip" where the wraps end at both ends, and also that tightly bound tape around wires offers a bit more strength to them. But yes, the final products tend to be as clean as possible - I do NOT want to have to take the dash off again down the road.
None the less, it's off to the garage I go, so more pictures later on.

Not a good afternoon... first get a message that my money was returned to me from the e-Bay purchase of those crank handles... right on... went back to the garage this afternoon - someone broke in. Odd thing, we can't find anything stolen - so perhaps they were spooked when I pulled up. But, none the less, it's been another long night (as it was on base, MP's called out, the whole 9 yards).
Tomorrow's the safety inspection in the Garage. Soon after I'll be heading into town to see if I can find those hex-screws I need. In short, I'll update Wednesday once I have pictures of progress that's being made.
As is stands right now though, I'm aiming to get the Dash completed by next Thursday - then put the car back together, Friday head back to Alberta for 4 days, and then back on that Tuesday, tear it apart as much as needed and keep working away at it...
Anyway, it's 4:30 am, I work in a couple hours, so I'm gonna get some sleep here. Later.

Haha... hey guys, I'm going to Lethbridge and Calgary, however, the car's not going to be finished in any sense inside...
July's Street Wheelers, the interior and exhaust WILL be finished

Got bored on e-bay... ordered more toggle switches, neon lights, 12 inch sub covers, new door handles... should be waiting to be all thrown in while I'm happily between Lethbridge trips in May...and a sub wiring kit... right, back to Candace...

Ahhh, you're a bum Rob. Anyway, - Relax Rob, I was just kidding - my door poppers came in today, so tomorrow, I go to work. As for tonight, I go out - again - as a DD, and we try to act all happy at a bar tonight. Yay! Junk... the company's great, so I'm not complaining.
None the less... I'm looking to get the fiberglassing started in key areas on the dash, and have the bloody thing completed by... ohhhh, Thursday night at the latest.
So, yes, with that, I'm out. Candace, tell them 'bout the shifter I'm getting.
