understandable.... but... electronics.. you fubar, its done. Machines.. you fubar something you take it apart and do it over again.
with engines... as long as it isn't started, and the fluids are fine, and the harnesses are connected. your fine. just trail and error.

The closest GM Goodwrench place wants $6,000 for a remanufactured engine installed or $5,000 for a used engine installed. He said it costs about $2,000 for labor. Lol.

Anyways, I guess I'm going to go to some local mechanic because it's bound to be cheaper than the $100 an hour that dealership wanted.
Also, when looking for used engines is there anything I should ask to make sure everything is all good besides the normal "does it run?" Thanks.

buy one with a warranty, usually it is a 6 month 6000 miles warranty, gives things a little time if the junkyard motor is bad...

If you buy an engine through AutoZone's EverDrive program, they come with 3 year full warranties and typically cost $1500-ish.

Or buy my car lol. Take engine and trans and parerga rest then scrap it! Keep the seats though comfy as all hell
