no idea yet....basically until the '65 is installed, I plan on advancing by 2psi at a time until the transmission starts complaining, then back it down a notch. This is kinda like starting out on a road trip without a specific destination....heh.

I dont think anyone could do as much work as this guy, he is really going to put the aleros on the map, this is no car to eff around with, haha. That engine bay looks b-e-a-utiful, but yea like u said take your time and ease into it, cause u dont wanna mess anything up after this long process of taking her apart and putting her back together. This is without a doubt the best alero on this site(not to put anyone down, cause i do like a lot of other peoples aleros too), but this car is just crazy. Cant wait to see the final product and some slips. Good work man

hey seriously thank you for all the nice comments, just motivates me to go further. Now if I could get everyone to send donations, we can get this going quicker
Just make checks payable to the "Help the Alero beat the McLaren" fund.

Well, it's official. The neighbors hate me. hahahah.
Just got back from the exhaust shop. He didn't have my size glass packs in stock (24" long, 3" diameter, x2) so I have to wait for them to finish it out. In the mean time, I went ahead and had the cat removed and the whole exhaust consists of a single 3" pipe for now. Cant hear yourself think, but damn....that thing sounds good. It doesn't have that "no-muffler" sound to it with that turbo taking out all the high notes. Nice thing is, I can drown out that idiot in the next lane at the stop light that is cranking his rap with 4x18" subs and make HIM hold his ears.

very nice indeed...unlike billy's wild thinking, i dont think this will put aleros on the map, but it will get some credibility, but congrats on finally getting the project completed (except for tuning, that is a non-stop deal, as im finding out with my supra, amazing how you can continually tune and tune to get it better and always come up with something else to further fine tune)

how much hp you getting? Curious. I'm in the process of a build myself. Engine bore to p&p, supercharger, even some nitrous. Should be able to get about 600 hp out of mine

that sounds nice, just dont blow it up
Factor in another $400 for a PowrTuner. You wont be able to get an "off the shelf" performance PCM for what you are doing.

first, do you want 600hp at the crank or wheels? if at the wheels then your looking at needing close to 750, maybe 800hp at the crank...i bet you have no clue how much work its gonna take to get 600hp out of the alero, yet alone the money....just look at springsfastestalero and where hes at to prove this point...good luck and keep us updated

Congrats on your progress!!!!! What do you have planed for the 65? Manual valve body, stronger internals, stall T/C.......ect? Do you recomend your type of setup for weekend drives only, or would you recomend taking it on the power tour?
