It is just what people are posting, saying they sold the alero and it was the biggest peice of crap ever, bla bla bla.

Well I know for one I don't plan on keeping this car forever, but when I do sell it, I'm not gonna talk crap about, especially on a alero fourm.

alon. my dear friend. he wasnt referring to you. he was making fun of some of the members that bitch about the slightest problems and sell the alero because of it and redline for about 4mins and make a video and send it to us who actually like our cars.

I'm with u when it comes to all of the people who bitch and talk crap about the Alero.. It's just not the right place and it looks odd to me as well...

Besides, Its just not true. Sure there r a lot of newer cooler cars today and I know that for some reason the Alero got alot of haters but ANYONE that gets into my car and i mean ANYONE likes it and always give me compliments about how cool it is (or is it about me lol).

I did forget to mention, that I'll never have to change the oil since in 20 miles it leaks out 3 quarts

well, i realize this is an ALERO forum, and basically coming on here to bitch about an alero will not be recieved very well. but, there cannot be any arguement that GM had a few lapses when building our cars compared to Honda and Toyota. there is more to it than keeping good care of the car, sometimes no matter how you take care of it the damn thing will still fall apart on you, and it seems to happen more with american cars than foreign.

people on here DO evelate the alero to an above average level, and rightly so. you all paid good money to buy your alero, and you should think it is the best car on the road. but, and everyone on here has done it numerous times, bashed Honda's. dont sit there and bash others cars on here, when its not as if the alero is the BEST car on the road. realize the alero was made to compete against the accord, camry, eclipse, and compared to them it kinda failed (obviously)...

i just wanted to post this because, oh i dont know, sitting here basing people/calling them idiots for voicing their opinions on the alero is kinda pointless. i have had plenty of problems with my alero, and i should not be made to feel like a lepper when i want to get on here and let my opinions be heard when im replacing my window regulator for the 5th time in 1 year...

and yes, i know of both sides of the arguement. i own a 95 Integra with 160k miles, and it runs a lot better than my alero. i DO love my alero though, dont get me wrong, but there are some things that highly annoy me about it compared to other cars...

^Well put. Aleros aren't a bad car, everyone on here either has one or has had one because they see or saw something it had to offer that no other car did. They're a very value driven car, for what you pay and what you get it's an awesome deal. People on here shouldn't expect their car to be invincible to breakdowns, and when it does accept it as part of owning the car or just sell it. When you're not paying a premium price you shouldn't expect a premium product.

troyertrain...... I dont think my car is the best car on the road, i know its not. But this is an alero site, and if people come on here and just bitch about their alero its no fun....go to another car site and do it, cause i dont feel like hearing it. Yea the alero has its common problems, but after being on here for over a year and seeing countless threads with people BITCHING about the problem they have with their alero....well it gets VERY VERY annoying. I love my car, but obviously i dont think its the best car on the road. I take pride in my car (i took pride in my 2000 taurus). Ive had my problems with the alero, but i dont get on here and complain, i get on here and ask for help or just tell people whats wrong.

AGAIN....this is an ALERO SITE, so when people come on here and complain about their alero do you want all of us to just shut up and let people keep bitching about their car??? Yea that makes sense......

I don't think my Alero is the best car on the road, but I put a lot of time and money into my baby, and what's wrong with that?

I also don't have the attitude that my car is the fastest on the road like Civic and Mustang owners do. Yes I know I can beat them in a race, except for the Mustang GT coupe, {which is one thing you'll never hear a Mustang or Civic owner say BTW} but it's my car, and what I love to do.
