Yeah I don't know about that front air box, just seems pointless to me. If your going to do that why not just put a cone on there, and I looks like it would get really messy. Depending on where you live you will be changing filters or recharging everyweek.
…if there were somebody to fool. I live in one of those “ghetto-fab” cities full of old school Impalas and Lincolns jacked-up on 26-inch rims. Unfortunately (or fortunately), it had no problem going un-noticed.

At the time, it made since to me. After opening it up and seeing no fins or anything directing the air towards the intake opening, I realized even though I was feeding it colder air, it was not being “rammed” into the system. Only bouncing off the intake; air that could have been feeding the radiator. When I do it again, I will be running a regular cone filter.
