Bent Control Arm

Some ahoe stole my car and crashed it into a ditch. I'm 99% certain that the worst of the damage, the rear driver's side wheel being 'turned' to the right, was caused by the tow truck winching it out. However that damage was caused, that piece of bent steel makes my car drive like a crab. I believe the name of the part is the rear control arm. They look like angle iron, a flat piece bent 90 degrees for strength. The appraiser is out there looking at it now, but do you guys have any idea what it would cost to replace that part?

Control arms are straight pieces of metal that connect the at the knuckle and body mounts. Maybe the sway bar?

I doubt it would be the sway bar. I suppose it could be a lateral link, but my first guess would be the trailing arm.

If it's a trailing arm, should be pretty cheap, even new.

I googled the lateral link for an image and that appears to be it. $27.99 each lol, that makes me feel better. When I drove it from the impound to the garage (200 feet) I was not happy. Ass end would skid with a screeching tire sound, then catch and buck to the right, rinse repeat. Now I guess I just have to wait for the insurance company to come through. They better not drag their asses. I need my car back.
