Did you fully remove the dash? What harness did you play around with? There is more then one harness behind the dash. Please expain in detail what you did.

I fully removed the dash and i know there is more then one harness I hooked everything up to the right place I hope and when I pluged in the cluster for some reason none of my gauges work the all light up and the only light that comes up when you start the car is the check engine light but goes away as soon as the cars started

Please tell me you unconnected you battery when you were messing around with the harnesses...
Like Molson said check the fuses but also when you plugged the harness back into the cluster did it click? Have you removed your cluster and tried installing it again?

Check the fuses...I had the same thing and it was a fuse in the pass. side dash fuse box- a completely unrelated fuse, so just test them all. Good Luck .

its the cruise fuse in the passenger side fuse panel or it should be. if thats not blown then ur got a problem for them not to be working. the cruise fuse ones a 2 amp and 10 amp .. its the 10 amp one. When i got rid of cruise control.. i thought i didn't need that fuse but apparently i did for the gauges to work.
