ever changed you battery cables?

anyone changed out their negative and positive battery cables? i was trying to trace to where they go from the battery couldnt find where? anyone know the guage on the factory ones is it 4 guage maybe 6?

think its 4, the neg if i recall goes to the chasis, the positive splits goes to the alternator, the fusebox under the hood, and to the starter.

On the 2.4L from memory, it's connected from the battery to the starter and then connects from starter to alternator.

Not sure if it's the same setup on your engine. I would imagine it's very similar, if not identical.
