ticking sound.....
ok....so this happened yesterday. I didnt realize it till i left the gas station and it got me paranoid cause i just put in this bottle of stuff for the gas....its supposed to clean the system some. but as i push the pedal down farther, the ticking sound goes faster. if i accelerate slowly it doesnt make a very loud sound. WTF IS THIS!? anybody have any ideas? it only does it when its in drive, i tried reving my engine in park and it doesnt make the sound....only under acceleration.

my buddy tom was saying it could be some sediment that got knocked loose and everytime the injector closes it makes that sound. cause i think it started doing it after i put that gas cleaner in..... does that sound right to any of you gear heads? haha
He said if it doesnt go away in a couple hundred miles then i have an issue.

If it doesn't go away in a couple hundered miles you could have a bigger issue. I noticed a tick on mine one day and decided to check the oil and I was more then a quart low.

Exhaust leak doesn't seem right.
Car louder or just tick noise?
Can't it be the valves or springs or something.
