In need of new Front Axle(s)

I,ve been developing a vibrating and popping driverside front axle, and was wondering before replacing it (or both front). If there is a superior quality axle other than oem? i dont want to settle for some offbrand autozone axle, i would prefer something thats possibly better than OEM. I've looked around a little bit, but everything seems to be on an OE level. was kinda hoping i could get some new axles that could handle a little bit more abuse or torque.

Well that is what those two companies do... why would you think anyone would outright carry aftermarket n-body axles? Do we break them that often? Spyhunter ran slicks pulling sub-1.8 60ft times without an issue.

Back on topic... The DriveShaftShop can make whatever you want, and they stand behind their product. I have a set of them on my 3400 5-speed (with C5 hubs nonetheless).

They may have the specs. If not, you measure from the tip of the output shaft to the flat surface of the hub. Preferably with the suspension compressed.

Cardone are also the NAPA rebuilt and new axles. I have rebuilt ones on my Escort. I do not recommend their rebuilt ones on any car that you actually like (my Escort is a beater so for it that's OK). I would not recommend any other brand of rebuilt axles on anything, ever.

From my parts thread...
Brand New in box CV axles. PICS [ 1 ] -- $10 ea. + shipping

And you're in Maryland, so depending on what areas you frequent, I could possibly meet you somewhere and save you shipping since they are heavy.

They are GSP brand. GSP's web site sucks, but you can check it out anyway if you want. http://www.gspnorthamerica.com
