really odd muffler

I was doing some searching for a solution to loude mufflers, the straight through type, and came accross a few intresting things, the first one is a muffler that has a butterfly valve hooked up to a solinoid, when you press a button it opens or closes, thus increasing ofr decreasing the db level of your exhaust, the thing I liked most about this, is there chamber that is desighned to direct exhaust flow throught the muffler and finnaly out of the system to keep backpressure low, until you open it up. (Ill have links to the site when I find them ageain)

The next is Apexi, everybody probably knows this company allredy. they have parts to build this kind of setup.

I know there have been people on other sites that have custom made a setup like this, but it seems difficult, and very time consumeing, but possably worth it, idk.

Any thoughts on this?

I've seen this, it's made by X-force and its called the Varex. But what I know it is only available in Australia.
Here's a Youtube clip:

Also I do not think it is worth it, Apexi's are way overpriced because of the name.

It's really not worth it. If you want quiet get the one [Ion] has, if you want loud, get something like what I have.
