3-ways??

Hi, well as u guys probably know our stock speakers are only 2-ways, i was wondering if its possible just to drop in 3-ways or if there is some extra wiring.. And is it the same for front and back speakers?

I put three ways in mine. Just ran existing +/- to the crossovers and "Bob's 'yer uncle" dude...

You will gain no advantage between either design thats noticeable.

The best 6x9's Ive heard to date were Infinity Ref's with a mere 20 WRMS from an external amp. Those babies were loud and clear.

Come to think of it, ALL of the best coaxial speakers Ive ever heard were two ways. I had a set of CDT Cambrias in my Mercury Cougar that would make your ears hurt- but were crystal clear the entire time.

Thanks ryan.. Infintys are a little out of my price range though, i would like to spend about $50

Dude that sucks, for $80 or less on E Bay you can get em.

The American Bass ones are awesome as well. They are a three way design and are rather stout speakers.
