WOT-Tech 3400 Boost Heads

There was a discussion that brought up flow numbers. Well, here they are, the flow numbers for my boost heads. They are in pdf format.

http://wot-tech.com/boostintake.pdf
http://wot-tech.com/boostexhaust.pdf
http://wot-tech.com/3400stockvsstreetstripvsboost.pdf

Intake, exhaust, and a sample comparison between stock, street/strip, and boost. 28" of water depression, 3.7" bore used.

I will have pictures later.

Why call them stage 3? That doesn't tell anyone anything. At least calling them "boost heads" would tell someone that the ports are opened up and optimised for a boosted engine.

When the bronze guides are in and the heads are ready to ship to swaintech, I will post the pics.

Glad you like the numbers Once my new store is up (which is so much nicer than v3), I will work on the packages. The numbers with manifolds is far more important, and the taper/velocity is more defined for specific applications.

Out of curiosity, what does a 2.4 or ecotec (or whatever the 4 cylinder crowd uses)? I know its a lot, especially at lower lifts.

Are you talking about flow numbers for a 4 cylinder head? I haven't seen Eco numbers, but here's some for the LD9:

Stock 2.4 Head--------Ported 2.4 Head
Intake:
.100 lift 90.3 cfm--------107 cfm
.200 lift 155.9 cfm ------162 cfm
.300 lift 217.7 cfm ------224 cfm
.400 lift 258.9 cfm ------268 cfm
.500 lift 277.9 cfm ------282 cfm

Exhaust:
.100 lift 81.2 cfm-------79.65 cfm
.200 lift 119.5 cfm------140.1 cfm
.300 lift 126.0 cfm------173.3 cfm
.400 lift 129.2 cfm------180.0 cfm
.500 lift 135.5 cfm------183.0 cfm
