ok, from everyone i have talked to at school that is an insane price to pay for an exhaust system. What makes that one so special?

I have SLP piping on my car and it is a 2001 sedan but it didn't fit very well. It had to be modified a little by the muffler shop to work but it is on now and thats what counts. It wasn't a perfect fit for my car's stock piping but then again I have a 4 door with SLP. I bet on a 2 door it would fit perfect.
I have a 2001 sedan, and I have the complete SLP system, and it fit perfectly. You just have to make sure that you cut off the stock exhaust in the right spot.

SLP exhaust uses mandrel bending, instead of crust bending. That means that the pipes have smooth bends, they aren't buckled in the bends. With crush bending, the corners buckle in and reduce the actual effective diameter of the piping. And as far as pricing goes, it isn't all that much more expensive than getting an exhaust system made. But a lot of people have had success with flowmaster mufflers, and other brands. And, also, stinless steel will not rust... so you won't ever have to replace it.
